ARCA Series 2023 Schedules
The ARCA Series will return to the track in 2023. In the meantime, Team Stange Racing will announce its return to the series in 2022. The team has fielded one car this season and has two more under development. The team is led by Jeff Smith, who has been atop the pit box for 40 consecutive ARCA-sanctioned races. Despite the team’s decision to return to the ARCA, the team will not enter the Mid-Ohio race.
The ARCA Series has maintained a small following in recent seasons. Even though NASCAR has dropped out of the series because of non-payment of the sanction fee, grassroots racing has drawn modest crowds. For the 2023 season, the first race is slated for DAYTONA in Florida. Tickets are $49 for general admission and $75 for reserved seating.

ARCA Series Drivers
Brad Smith has confirmed that he will make a full-time return to the ARCA Series in 2023 and will run the No. 48 for Smith Brothers Racing. He has driven one racecar this season but has two more cars in development. Smith’s brother, Jeff, has been atop the pit box for 40 consecutive ARCA-sanctioned events. In 2020, Smith had a career-best ninth-place finish at Winchester Speedway.
Despite having never raced in the Truck Series, he has learned how to drive unfamiliar cars and has set some of the fastest lap times in ARCA competition. He started racing at 14 and is battling for the top five in the ARCA West. He has never driven a Bruncati Racing or Bill McAnally Racing car before but has turned his skills into a winning machine.
ARCA Menards Series East
The ARCA Menards Series East 2023 schedule will include 20 races at 19 tracks. The season will kick off with the 59th visit to Daytona International Speedway on Feb. 19 and conclude in October with a championship clash at Toledo Speedway. ARCA Menards Series races will be held at several tracks in the east, including Iowa Speedway on July 8 and Pocono Raceway in September. Several of these events will occur in conjunction with the NASCAR Cup Series.
The 2023 race at Bristol will be the defending champion. He is expected to return to Joe Gibbs Racing, as he was in 2018. The no. 18 car will be driven by Sammy Smith in 2022. The two will be competing for full-time in the East Series.
ARCA Menards Series West
Brad Smith has announced that he will continue to race full-time in the ARCA Menards Series in 2023, continuing to run the No. 48 car for Smith Brothers Racing. The family team has only had one race car this season, but they own two more currently under construction. Brad Smith has a career-best finish of ninth at Winchester Speedway and has 40 ARCA-sanctioned races under his belt.
