Let’s look at two different statements.

Note that it is referenced and clearly identified by number 6. It identifies the sixth reference on the reference page as the source. This brings up a related topic about the reference page. All ads and websites should have a reference page. In fact, the reference pages are worth more than the evidence. Method of Action
Investigate how the Death Pill works, also known as the mechanism of action. Every medication, including prescription medication, should have clear instructions for use as a reference. Don’t call a weight loss pill “good” without explaining how it works.
Check the first author cited to make the best claim or the author cited to make most of those claims. Review, in this case, is checking the context as “good” and checking the “customer” as to how to get information and reviews.
Review the number of subjects tested using the weight loss drug in question. It’s hard to judge, but understand that small studies, that are not reliable results. A study with 10 subjects isn’t enough to say anything important. When classifying a study, the number of subjects necessary to produce reliable results depends on many factors. I recommend that you look at the information provided for guidance in choosing the right number of articles. If they take the time to write about it in their study journal, they probably have the best number of articles. In general, if you are reviewing a study measuring a single variable, you want to find at least 50 articles. However, we often lower this standard because it is difficult for us to recruit for studies.
Well-conducted, unbiased research does not hide reported effects (also known as adverse effects). It should be as easy as a sales copy or legal form headline. If you are hidden, get off the bullet of death.
If all else fails and you can’t tell if it’s a good or bad drug, call your health care provider. Let the operator know exactly what you want. Say something like, “I want feedback on a new weight loss pill, called the ABC pill. Is it a bad drug for me or is it safe?” Organize the reason for asking for information and the response time will triple.
